The calculator returns an estimate of the value adjusted for inflation using the Consumer Price Index (CPI). This calculator was created using Javascript from the NASA CPI Inflation Calculator and additional CPI values from "Inflation Conversion Factors for Dollars 1774 to Estimated 2018" by Robert Sahr, from Oregon State University.
