Join us for a presentation and tour of the General Land Office in Austin!

Land records can be helpful in our research If our ancestor owned land, we can use land records to see when that land was sold. This will give us clues to when our ancestors moved or died.

Come learn what the Texas General Land Office has to offer. We will start with a presentation about the office and their collection that dates back to the early days of Texas. After the presentation we will tour the office and their map collection. If you research in other states, you can learn clues to help you research in those states.

Schwartz’s is close. If you are available we can adjourn to Schwartz’s for lunch after the tour.
