Index to Naturalization Records of Travis County, prepared by the State Wide
Records Project of the W. P. A., sponsored by the Department
of
Justice through the Naturalization and Immigration Division of the Federal
Government. This is a complete record of naturalization proceedings in the
Probate, County and District Court of Travis County; at the time the County
was organized either of the three courts handled Naturalization matters. Since
1906 all such matters have been handled by the U. S. District Court.” This
list was taken from the above index and shows information as they transcribed
it and entered by Kay Dunlap Boyd. The original Naturalization records are
on microfilm at the Austin History Center of the Austin Public Library. This
complete listing is being printed in Austin Genealogical Society Quarterly.
