Austin Genealogical Society
is sponsoring a Research Trip to the
Allen County Library in Fort Wayne, Indiana

When: Sunday, October 5 – Saturday, October 11, 2008

Cost of Trip:

Hotel Package: Includes 6 nights at the Fort Wayne Inn (double occupancy), 6 breakfasts, transportation to/from the airport in Fort Wayne, a group dinner with Curt Witcher, Director of the Genealogy Department of the Allen County Library, and a hospitality room, complete with refreshments for $350. Single Occupancy is $605 for the hotel package. ($25 extra for non-AGS members)

Air Package: We have a block of airline seats on American Airlines. We are scheduled to leave Austin at 10 a.m., arriving in Ft. Wayne at 3:40 p.m. The return flight is at 4 p.m. and we arrive back into Austin at 8:30 p.m. The cost is $372 plus tax (tax cannot be quoted until final payment is made) plus a $15 ticketing fee. We have a limited number of seats blocked and they will be first come, first served. This was the best price available for group travel due to Fort Wayne being a second tier city. We will be flying from Austin to Fort Wayne through Chicago.

If you would like to reserve a place on this trip, please send a check for $100 (made out to AGS) to Pat Oxley, 2012 Red Oak Circle, Round Rock, TX 78681. You can e-mail Pat (pat@theoxleys.com) or call her at 512-733-5993. Please specify single or double occupancy, your roommate (if applicable) and IF you want a plane ticket. Please include all your contact information: Name, Address, Phone numbers and e-mail.

More details, plus a video tour of the library will be part of the AGS Seminar on Saturday, April 26th.
